Ad-hoc Committee on Bloodborne Pathogens
In response to a request from the Registrar, Dr. Cam Little, Registrar of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia confirmed that the College was willing to assist all PDB licensees by providing access to the College’s Ad-hoc Committee on Bloodborne Pathogens. At its meeting on September 21, 2007 the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia adopted the College of Physicians and Surgeons’ process. Ms. Carolyn MacDonald is the Administrative Assistant to the Committee and is also the College’s Privacy Officer. If one of the Board’s licensees (or anyone on his or her behalf) wishes to access the Committee’s expertise they can contact Ms. MacDonald at the College at 421-2209.
